Kathy Bonaccorsi, the vocalist, was born in Hartford Connecticut. In 1974, she moved California and lived there for thirty-six years, honing her singing chops studying with vocal coach Jan Emerson. Singing, writing, and recording originals with musician and promoter Dan Daniels and Ron White performing Gospel with the Light House Singers of Marin and was the featured singer for several bands in the San Francisco Bay Area. Kathy's singing style with her smooth linear melodic lines likes to mix her sets with, jazz, blues, Latin and pop capturing the nuance of the singers of the NYC  jazz clubs of the 50s and 60s, where the genre Cool Jazz originated.

 

 

 

 

 

James Hunter, performer on bass guitar and acoustic bass. A public school teacher for New London, New Haven, and Groton over the past thirty-six years. James worked with rock, Latin, and jazz bands in Connecticut. He is a member of the Eastern Connecticut Symphony and currently performs jazz on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at the Steak Loft in Mystic CT.  James performs gospel music Sunday mornings at Madry Temple in New London CT

Salvatore D'Alessandro  ( guitar/ vocalist) is featured in the Long Island Sound's 50s, 60s, and rock tunes. Sal has been teaching instrumental and general music to students in grades K-8 in the Cromwell Public Schools for twenty-five years. He also maintains a studio, offering private instruction on guitar and bass guitar, He received bachelor's and master's degrees from Wesleyan University specializing in guitar and African American music and is certified to teach grades 12-K. Sal was awarded a travel study grant from the National Endowment for the art's and has studied music therapy and acoustics. From weddings to variety and Broadway shows, jazz, funk, and disco to ethnic and ballroom dancing styles, Sal has performed it all in his many years of strumming throughout New England. His recording credits include demos for local songwriters and bands, as well as jingles for a local ad agency at WCNX in Middletown. An avid sportsman, Sal loves rowing, squash, swimming, and tennis. He lives in Higganum with his wife, Mardi.
